Happy Friday - 16.01.15

Happiness is...........casting on...........

Nothing like a new project on the needles to make me smile (despite the fact the other* project is very much not finished).

Winding the wool to hopefully get some sort of match in the colours and now cracking on, with the toe done already.  Toe-up two at a time.

Why the sudden need for socks?  Well I happened to be looking at Planet Penny's homemade socks and before I knew it I was hunting for a ball of sock wall that I bought a few years ago.

Joining in with Planet Penny's Happy Friday....why don't you pop over there and take a look at everyone else's happy things too.

* if you are fooled that there is only one unfinished project I'm impressed

  2. I can see why that sock fire was like under you. I like how she hung the socks. The ladybug on each pin is a cute touch.

  6. Hi Faith, when I started reading your post I thought I was having a déjà ou moment ... I have so many projects going but there is nothing more fun to me than starting a new project and this week I also saw in a friends blog taht they had started a pair of socks knitting both at the same time and I was very tempted to make one for myself .... Hummmm ... Maybe I will go upstairs and start that today .... Happiness ... I love your yarn.

  7. That first bit sums me up nicely, I love casting on something new but I rarely seem to be casting off :-o Really like the bright rainbows in that wool, it's going to make fantastic socks. I wonder what the striping will look like?

I'd love to hear what you think, and I won't be asking you to jump through hoops (or fill in a captcha) to do it.............
