Soooo...its been a long while....no convincing excuses......just you'll be lumbered now with a very picture heavy post....if you lose the will to carry on at any time during the next....ahem....hundred or so pictures....I am well....I am busy...but I hope to get some normality back in my blogging!
Look blue-skies.........
The smell of flowering gorse.........mmmmmmm....my sister says it's just like custard creams!
A day out at a local National Trust garden...littlest boy tired right from the beginning
Funny how all my boys like to pose for my blog (their suggestions, not mine)!
Toasting marshmallows on the campfire
Over a river on a rope swing
The walled garden
Cat in a tree
Wild garlic....mmmmm.....
Bluebells
I first spotted this swan a month or so ago, but haven't had my camera with me....it takes me right back to a book I read when I was kid....'Lord of the rushie river'...must hunt it out again.
A new walking spot
Setting off.
A new member to our family, who did just about the whole walk with us and then made their way home....no name on his collar, just his chip no. so the boys christened him Chip and he took a shine to our fluffier collie Ned.
I've been making too....plodding on with my wedding blanket and I've made a set of curtains (here) and a sprung roller blind (the least said about that the better!)
So there we have it ...there are more things, but that 's the abridged version!
Ooooh, I've missed this! Speak soon.x
And we have missed you and those gorgeous boys.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
Your boys are such gems. I love how they love to pose for Mommy. The lil' one's outfit is cute. What a beautiful walk you had along nature's miracles.

ReplyDeleteA lovely ramble and I love the swan on it's nest. Always nice to have friends along whether it's 2 legged or 4.
Have a great weekend,

P.S Lovely pic of the swan too...
Well you more than made up for any absence with this post! Your boys are just so cute, I want to hug them every time I see them. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful garden you visited, and I'd like to try that rope swing!
Well, you see, if you are the World's Cutest Boys then you simply are REQUIRED to grace the world with your essence. :) It is a rule.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, I like the shapely dead tree. I'm going soon to see if we have bluebells in the woods here yet, still waiting for wild garlic too, love the smell, quite intoxicating.
ReplyDeleteMissed you too :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos ... your walks always look perfect.
So lovely to have you back I've missed your posts. Your walk just looks fab and my children all love to pose also when they know it's for the blog. That rope swing just looks like so much fun !! I love looking at the bluebells in the forests, they are carpeting the floor of our local forest and are just so pretty. I've a friend who loves wild garlic and loves to make some garlic butter with it, even added a hint of it to some homemade soda bread !Love the curtains and we shall say no more on blinds!
