One-a-day - Tuesday tallies

Well, as I haven't been going for a week yet, this post is rather disappointingly lacking big double figures!

That is it, I'm afraid...........but I am on the way and a couple of months down the road, I will have my finished throw........go me!

To see others' more notable progress.........please see here

On other things, I have decided on my design for the bunting swap

Which rather nicely lets the sun shine through on the cut out heart.
On a totally off-topic ending, yesterday was a very exciting and emotional (rolled into one) afternoon.  Our family car was put on the top of a lorry and taken away........the excitement from three vehicle-mad boys was tangible.  My littlest let out a little whimper as the car was hauled on top and despite having a lovely new replacement, I was sorry to see it go too.

  4. Hi Faith...It's so nice to see that someone else is working in all cream! I thought I was the only one not working in gorgeous multi-colour...at first I thought I was looking at photos of my own One-a-Day...what yarn are you using for yours? The Sunny Spread pattern is gorgeous isn't it!

  10. I really like the pattern you are using for the squares, and its nice to see something in muted colours....despite I am doing everything in colour at the moment.

Your bunting design for the swap looks beautiful with the material you are using for it!

Awwww letting go of something, even if for a new thing is still losing something you have attached to :)

  11. Your squares are coming along really well and I'm loving the lilac you went with - I think it's going to look so beautiful with that. I really like your bunting too - I do rather have a thing for bunting! :)

Aww, it's a shame about your car, hopefully you're enjoying your new one though! :)

  16. Progress does seem very slow at first doesn't it! Especially if you stick to one a day (like me). Some people seem to be 'cheating' and doing a few more! But probably like you I have to many things on the go at once to make more than one!
I've also just got a new car, and also got a little sentimental over the old one. Even though I didn't overly like the old car I still got sentimental over an inanimate object and feel bad for not finding it a loving 'forever' home! ha ha!
