One-a-day Tuesday tallies (wk9)

Here we go again!

Sorry.........this is a terribly squonky picture, the light is so poor and placing it on the kitchen table seemed like a good idea, until I was standing on tiptoes on a chair trying to fit it in the frame.........if you think this one is bad, you should see the others!

So my tally actually stands at 62 (one must have jumped off the table in these pics). The pattern is an eight by eight square but I actually intended to make it long wise...........but actually...........

Having seen it both ways, I think the square may just be nicer...............maybe less practical, but suits the design?  What d'you think?

I think that the little hand has something to do with trouble with maths!

So...........you know what this means, don't you?  I have two more squares to do and then it's edging all the way!

I have loved doing this project, in fact I would definitely make another as it has been stress-free.

So the burning question is...........what shall I do next?  Suggestions gratefully received.............

  1. Oooh, what to do next? That's the big question isn't it? One of my favourite pastimes is looking through my ravelry favourites with just that question in mind!
I like the square, but I always like squares because I have a thing about even numbers, especially the number 8. Just a personal quirk I think. It will be beautiful whatever you decide though, I love it.

I had to take my pictures from the same position and could not get a straight one!!!
Love the hand sneaking into the frame!!

Whats on your rav favourite list, maybe make a short list of things you'd like to do and then see which appeals most to you...

  12. It looks great. Love the little helping hand, I had one of those except it was more like a helping tornado passing through. LOL The rearrangement of my squares had me starting all over again. I am actually finished but have not had time for a photo shoot. I am trying to finish a small project before starting another. But I think I am going to make a babies blanket next.

  13. It's so lovely and I'm excited to see it finished now you're close to the end. I agree that the square is more aesthetically pleasing - does it need to be practical too?

As for the next project.... wow, what a lovely position to be in! I'm usually desperate to get onto something else before I've finished so I say grab yourself a glass (bottle?) of wine and settle down for a night of Ravelry browsing!

  15. Its so gorgeous, I think a square would be great- it does suit it!

I agree with everyone else (and hey its my favourite passtime) Ravelry browsing, my husband shakes his head each time he walks past the computer and that's what's on the screen!

  16. Oh its beautiful, I can't wait to see the edging on it. What to do next, hmmmm, so much to crochet and so little time. What about something in rows, ripples or stripes, since this project was in squares. Looking forward to seeing your progress next week :)

  18. ooo, your nearly done! Wish I was nearly done! I think the square is more aesthetically pleasing, but like you said less practical, but as long as you can snuggle underneath it!
Next I think you should choose a smaller project. A cushion!

I'd love to hear what you think, and I won't be asking you to jump through hoops (or fill in a captcha) to do it.............
